The Bachelorette Party
8:34 PM We took Erica out last Saturday night for her Bachelorette Party. My little sister is getting married on Oct 4. We are so excited for her and Ira. Here are a few pictures from the night!  Rasberry Kamakazi shots and yep, I did one! My first shot in about 3 years!!  Even Mom did one!!  I love my sisters!!  And here I am with one of my best friends, Mary. We were posing in front of Bubs, because back in the days before kids, we used to love hanging out there!  4 left a comment
Colin's Baptism
8:27 PM Colin was baptized into the Catholic Church on Saturday, July 26. His Godparents are his Aunt Jen and Uncle Jeff. Unfortunately they could not be here for the baptism, so my parents stood in for them. The ceremony was beautiful. Here are a few pictures from the day. I'm hoping if anyone else has pictures I can get copies of them, since I didn't get to take many being in the ceremony myself.      Deacon Rick did a special blessing for me, the mother, with all the other mother's there as my support, it was awesome! 8:23 PM The other night I was about to feed Colin, but needed to go get a diaper or something. So I put him on the couch to wait for me and when I came back this is what I saw:    It was so cute, he was sucking his thumb so hard....must have been hungry! 3 left a comment

Vegas, Baby!
8:41 PM My parents got a time-share in Vegas at a resort called The Cancun. So, this past week, our family, mom and dad, and Rachel and her family all met in vegas for 3 days. It was awesome! We spent most of the time at the really awesome pool at the resort. The weather was great! 104 degrees and up the whole time! HOT, but we loved it! The pool had some awesome water slides that we went down, a bunch of jacuzzis and it was just really fun for us and the kids. We did hit the strip one afternoon, but it was really hot and not much to do for the kids, but it was cool anyways. Thanks mom and dad for a great trip! Here are a few pics of our trip! Here is half of the pool at night...it was the view looking down from our parents room:  Juan gambles a dollar and wins $1.25, and then loses it! We were big spenders!!  The M&M factory...you walk in there and the smell of chocolate is AWESOME!!   Rachel and Allen went to get a pic with these two Elvis' and then the big blue Elivs MADE Allen give them a tip! How rude!  In front of the Bellagio...  The bathtub in the hotel room was seriously HUGE, we could have fit a few more people in there!  It's always fun to see Brandon and Kira together as they are only 10 weeks apart in age.  Rachel's first time holding Colin...and isn't Kylie such a pretty model??? Sesame Street Live
8:29 PM They had a free Sesame Street show for military families on base last week. My mom and I took Brandon and Colin. Brandon got all decked out in his Elmo shirt and we had a good time. They gave out all kinds of free stuff: stickers, postcards, books, DVDs, a light up Elmo toy, etc. It was awesome!   He loved the toy they gave him!  1 left a comment

Colin's 2 month check-up
1:48 PM Colin had his two month check up yesterday. He weighs 12lbs (50th percentile) Height: 21.5lbs (5th percentile)...we are destined to have two short kids! Everything else was right on target. He is doing great. He had to get 6 immunizations (1 oral and 3 shots)...he did great with the shots, it was funny though because he screamed for a second, which made brandon cry. So Colin stops crying after like 10 seconds and Brandon continues to cry for like 5 minutes...go figure. Unfortunately Colin had a really bad reaction to the shots and last night was screaming for an hour straight with a swollen leg, poor baby. It's a long story but he's MUCH better today! The pacifier game
11:28 AM Brandon loves to play with Colin's pacifier when it's in his mouth. He usually tries to pull it out and put it back in for him. Yesterday I saw him just playing with the handle and Colin was SOUND asleep the entire time. I was really surprised Brandon didn't wake him up. Check out the video... |
