Well, we are officially moved out of our house! Here are some pictures of moving day!

And here we are hanging out in an empty house...

Even though we were glad to be getting out of that tiny place and moving on to a much bigger, nicer place that we own, we were kind of sad. After all, we had a lot of memories there. We had many parties there, bonfires, dinners with friends, New Year's Eve gatherings, deployment homecomings, and of course both of our kids were born and brought home to that house, Brandon "grew up" there and we will always remember the comments we got when we said we lived on "Bushy Hill Dr."

Brandon FINALLY said his first word (other than mama and dada)..."Thanks" Aparently he said it last week when Juan and I were out of town. Aunt Rachel said she handed him a cracker and he said "thanks". I wasn't so sure. But, of course, the other day he said it like 6 times in a row for me. I look forward to hearing him say more and more words!

And...

today Colin had his first laugh! Aunt Rachel was tickling his feet and he let out a little chuckle and then I was looking at him, smiling and talking to him later on and he laughed again. Too cute!

Colin has his first swim in the pool on Saturday. We think he liked the water, but I only kept him in for about 10 minutes because the water was kind of chilly. He's going to be a fish just like Brandon.

We went to Sea World yesterday and Brandon actually rode some of the rides. He wasn't even scared. I couldn't believe it. Here is a video of him on the "roller coaster"...well, it was more like a boat ride, but it was still pretty wild for a 20 month old kid!

Juan, Colin and I just got back from our house-hunting trip to Florida. We looked at 25 houses in two and a half days. It was exhausting, but well worth it because we finally found a house we love, in a great neighborhood.

The neighborhood is called Oakleaf Plantation and it's very family oriented. It has two awesome pools, a beautiful golf course, two fitness centers, tons and tons of parks around every corner of the neighborhood, great schools, and tons of activities for families. Some of the activities that I saw in their newsletters are things like halloween parties, saftey days with face painting and clowns, movie nights on the soccer fields, scrapbook nights for moms, babysitting services, pet sitting, and on and on. I think it will be a great neighborhood for us to be in.

The house has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a decent sized kitchen, a huge great room plus another living room with fireplace. The master bathroom is huge, with a garden tub and seperate shower, and a huge walk in closet. The house is almost 1800 square feet which is pretty much doubling where we live now. It has a two car garage, pretty landscaping, a nice lawn in the front and back, and the entire house is in excellent condition. It was built in 2005, so it's still fairly new.

Here are a few pictures of the house. I didn't take that many at this house because it was the 25th house we saw and by then we were so tired of looking at houses. We do love it though!!

Today Colin is 3 months old! Time really is flying by! He is learning to hold his head up and he is starting to grab onto things, like his pacifier and links on his toys. What a big boy!!
