The past 24 months... 4:07 AM

Well, today our first baby turns two years old! The past 24 months have been the best of our lives so far and we know they will just keep getting better and better. Brandon is an amazing little guy. He has a mind all of his own, the funniest little personality and it just a joy to be around. Happy 2nd Birthday, little man.

Milestones 5:54 PM

Today Brandon said his first "real" noun and has been saying it over and over all day..."BALL". i've heard the word ball about a hundred times today, but I'm so proud because up until now, he's really only used expressive words like "wow" and "ut oh". YAY Brandon!!!

And the last few days Colin has been sitting up on his own! YAY Colin!!

Brandon is funny! 5:50 PM

The other day I was feeding Colin and Brandon was being really quiet, and I wasn't sure where he was. Well, when I was done, I found him in our room watching Sponge Bob. The TV doesn't have a stand yet, so it's on the floor for now and he goes in there and turns it on and he actually changes the channel until he finds something he likes! (and, no, i usually don't let him watch Sponge Bob, but it was too cute not to snatch a picture!)

And, I was trying to make dinner and he wanted some attention, so I gave him a sheet of stickers to play with. I put the Elmo on his shirt and I guess he found a place for the rest of them all by himself!!

Our new stroller! 5:44 PM

Nemah got us an early x-mas gift--the double jogging stroller, and it is AWESOME! I love it because it's so much easier taking the kids on a walk, it strolls really smoothly and you can go up and down curbs really easily and stroll thru the grass and other areas that are nearly impossible with our other regular stroller.

The kids love going for walks in it. It's funny because after our first walk, Rachel was asking me if the kids liked it and if they mess with each other (because apartently Kylie and Kira mess with each other in their stroller) and I said "nope, they don't, but they probably will when Colin is a little older"...well, lo and behold the next time we went out they were messing with each other big time! Colin really likes to try to touch Brandon and Brandon doesn't like that so he gets mad and tries to squirm away...too funny!

Brandon's Birthday Party! 4:55 PM

We had a birthday party for Brandon while most of my family was in town. I can't believe he is turning TWO next week!!! The party was "Curious George". It was a nice time. Here are some pictures of the party!

We got Brandon this "fur real puppy" because he LOVES doggies, and this is so real like and when you touch it it moves and it rolls over...it's so cute. Well, he is scared of it! and he won't go near it. On the other hand, Colin LOVES it!!

this video was taken from kinda far away, but it's cute, you can hear him laughing towards the end. i think erica and ira have an awesome close up video of him, i need to get a copy of it (hint, hint!!)
