Juan's parents are in town and they brought a bunch of Juan's toys from when he was little. There is a box of matchbox cars and hot wheels that is perfect for Brandon. He LOVES cars of any kind and there's about 50 or more that used to be Daddys! Thank you Abuela and Grandpa! And now for some reason Mommy thinks that starting a collection of new ones would be fun to add to the old ones...

Last week, Rachel, Kylie and Kira were in town and we made a trip to Jacksonville Beach! (Actually we went to Mayport on the base). The beach there is so beautiful! It was a little windy and the water was chilly, but we had fun anyhow! It was Colin's first time at the beach!

This first video is cute. I was showing Brandon how to make the frogs jump and when I was showing him, I was holding his arm to keep it steady. I didn't even notice until the end of the video that he was holding his arm steady too. It's funny the things kids pick up.

So Brandon loves art and we have a bunch of projects piling up. I have had to take some down from the fridge and put them in his "art box", but thought I would share them with everyone first.

Most of these were made at Family Art Time at the library. This one is titled "5, 6, Pick Up Sticks"




This one is Found Art Fish, using "found" materials. The teacher said she found most of the stuff on the beach.

Here's what he made (i helped him big time on this one, b/c he wanted to run around today, but it did turn out cute!)

And I even put it in with my green carnations that I got at church this past weekend.


The next two are little projects we have been doing here at home while Colin naps. We got a bunch of crafty stuff the other day that we can pull out when he gets bored.




And two watercolor pictures he did at the library. The first one he did all by himself. It has salt sprinkled on it to make it shimmer. And the second one, I painted and he scribbled!
