MLK day-St. Augustine-Choo Choo and Putt Putt
4:37 PM Since Juan had the day off of work and Brandon had off of school on Martin Luther King day, we decided to spend the day in St. Augustine. We wanted to take the kids on the train ride around the city. It was an hour ride all around, and you could get on and off at different stops. The kids LOVED going on the train! It was so fun for them! They even wore their choo choo shirts. We got off at the Putt Putt course and let the kids play. It was the cutest thing to see them with their golf clubs. They enjoyed chasing after the balls and rolling them with their hands, and just plopping the balls into the holes. They will learn how to play for real some day and hopefully go golfing with Juan on the weekends! We had a great day! During part of the tour we passed by a house that MLK lived in at one time, which was kind of ironic since it was MLK day... 1 left a comment |
